Last night was the first night in the new apartment! We slept on a mattress on the floor as there’s a tight turn in the stairs, too tight to bring up C.’s box spring. She is going to try to get super to bring it in through a window this afternoon.
We both have a LOT of stuff. Like, tons. C. has even more crap than I do. We may have a little sale.
Here is a question, loyal readers. I will be saving a little money by splitting the rent, so have decided to order cable. Or … should I get satellite? (DirectTV or DISH) I have never had satellite and don’t think I know anyone who does. Maybe there is a reason for that.
I do know that some satellite reception is adversely impacted by weather — rain and sometimes even very heavy cloud.
If you do satellite, what will you do for internet access?
Single large box spring? I didn’t know they did that. Thought all they did was split box springs. If you can’t get that box spring to the apartment get two have width box springs. Way easier to move. Maybe more comfortable too.
Congrats! My parents had cable and it kind of sucked so they switched back.
What you consider ‘crap’ may be really important to her! 😉 As for cable, try not to control the remote like all boys do.
