goals week 2

I am just getting this in under the wire! I promised to do one every week, and ideally this meant Monday or Tuesday. But maybe it is a good thing I am late. Part of the reason for the delay is that earlier I was v. discouraged on the whole diet front … I was back up to 174.5! Right around where I started from. And really I felt like I had made major efforts: cut way down on alcohol, more salads and less fried food, more fruits… Of course when I thought about it more I had to admit I had cheated a few times: there was that burrito, the pancakes, the big plate of spaghetti…

I was not looking forward to having to admit this on the blog.

Butttt, I redoubled my efforts and it has apparently paid off.

Fitness: Did 69 situps in 2 minutes today, up from Jan. 10. (week 1) Also 18 strict pullups (plus one more, but with a kick at the end so I’m not counting it). Up from 17. Didn’t time any runs this week.

Weight: 169.5 pounds, down from 173 lbs. on Jan. 10.

Debt: $7,015.22, down from $8,004.41 on Jan. 10.

Anyway. Ankle still swollen but was able to run on it today. Off for the evening…
