So I guess I can chalk up my sluggish Harlem hill repeats last week to the cold I was coming down with. This morning: 7:37, 7:50, 7:50. Not as good as two weeks ago, but I’m still a little sniffly.
My friend Renee told me the other day the real way to do the loops was three in one direction (each is a hilly 1.15 miles), and then three in the other direction. Yikes! “You’ll see stars,” she promised. Hmm.
One benefit of running in the park for three+ hours three of the last five Saturdays … lots of compliments about how “tanned and rested” I look.
