carnival of the runners pt. 2

So following some positive feedback, I am going ahead with this “carnival of the runners” idea.

If you’re not familar with the “carnival of … ” idea, check out the Carnival of the NBA, or the Carnival of Tomorrow, or Blog Mela (India-related posts).

If you’d like to be included in the carnival, send your nominations submissions to running (at) derekrose.com by Monday at 8 p.m. EST. The idea is more of a weekly “best of” roundup, but since next week will be the first week, you can nominate blog-entries you wrote whenever.

Also: please vote for one of the following names for the carnival:

  1. Carnival of the Runners
  2. Jog Blogs
  3. Blog Jogs
  4. Run-O-Rama
  5. Runners’ Roundup
  6. Running Roundup
  7. Something else of your choosing

Lastly — please let me know if you’d be interested in hosting a week of the carnival.

I’ll shell out some cash for a domain name once people have voted on a name.

(If you’d like, you can also submit nominations as a trackback to this entry, and just vote in the comment section. Also, any help promoting this fledgling effort is appreciated…)

UPDATE: I wrote “nominations,” but what I’m really talking about is submissions. I mean, I strongly doubt anything running-related will be turned down, unless I’m absolutely deluged with entries, which I’m not expecting.

UDPATE 2: In case I wasn’t clear before: I’m after individual blog-posts on running, not links to entire running sites.
