Glenn Reynolds and Roger Simon are shocked, shocked that the Guardian wrote a story defending itself against the false charge it employed a member of a terrorist organization. Simon: “It’s sign of our media times that the lofty Guardian has seen fit to attack the blog of a ‘mere’ Dartmouth undergraduate.”
The mainstream press — if we don’t respond to bloggers’ attacks, we’re being aloof and arrogant. And if we do, we’re picking on a poor college student!
Jeez guys … Joe shouldn’t be dishing it out if he can’t take it…
P.S. Joe wrote me a nice note to say he could in fact take it, and defending his use of the term “terrorist group.” I say “hate group” is more accurate, though.
