With all the media reports about Hurrican Wilma turning into a nor’easter with floods and wind damage across New England, I thought I’d go outside and photograph some of the damage first-hand. Brace yourself– this was taken right here in Somerville:

this was done before – and to better effect – several hurricanes ago. The lead-in was better, more heart-wrenching, and the pic was on a website link, not in the email, so the reveal had the right effect. And the chair was…well, a cheesier chair in a funnier position…
