So got up at 6 a.m. today and did a 20-mile run with Charles across the George Washington Bridge and into the Palisades Interstate Park. It took us three hours and two minutes, but we stopped for six minutes at the ranger station at the halfway point. So I’m going to say our pace was 8:48 min/miles. Note that this is a tough, hilly course … monster hills, in fact. I have been competely wiped out all day.
I would like to say how nice it was, it’s a very pretty run with great views of the Hudson River, but really I’m just too tired.
Great job on the 20 miler. I see a cop car behind you…hope they weren’t waiting for you…lol.
Hello Flyerdude!
I love your ultimate running playlist!
Thanks for the comment. That was a fun run today….maybe becuase it was counter-clockwise from 68th for a change 🙂 But it was wimpy!…your run sounds like a REAL workout!
wow…I would have run for 6 minutes and taken pictures of the trees for 3 hours.
That’s a pretty killer course. I did that last fall with the club (before I had to withdraw from the NYC marathon) and even with water support, it was tough.
