i was making a lame joke today about this story of “snowball”, the dog that was taken away from this poor kid during the Katrina evacuation. But when you really get thinking about all that has happened, it’s just so incomprehensible. A Katrina survivor slit his wrists during a flight to D.C. yesterday. The New Orleans Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Accardo blew his brains out Saturday. And who knows what will come once the waters recede? Awful.
