Drove up with Flygirl and did the Flyers’ Croton Reservoir Fall Foliage run this morning. 3:03 for 19.9 miles, or just over 9 minute pace. Very scenic with all these leaves just starting to turn. Gave me a good shot of confidence approaching the taper for NYCM. I didn’t train totally hard but feel … maybe 3:40? If I’m smarter about pacing myself well.
Great name for a run … I need to get some of those pacing smarts, myself.
