Hey! I didn’t think anybody else younger than 60 drank Manhattans! Excellent.
I credit fellow V.C. alum Rich Miniter with introducing me to the drink
when I was 19many moons ago.Didn’t know it had a reputation as an old person’s drink, though! According to the Wikipedia article on Manhattans, legend has it they were invented at the Manhattan Club, so it’s appropriate I was drinking one there.
i wanted a green drink to match the dress…what can i say. gotta be coordinated 🙂
The Manhattan is excellent drink, but one does get the occasional stare when one orders it. A date once told me it reminded her of her grampa because that is what he drank. Wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.
