So the potential pitfall, as I see it, about blogging about money issues is that a) people making less than you will think you are bragging and be scornful; b) people making more than you might look down on you and be scornful; or c) people might think what you have to say is too simplistic and be scornful.
However I hope to defuse such potential criticism by acknowledging and anticipating it here, before I’ve posted anything. Basically I am not appointing myself as any kind of financial expert; however I see money as one of those taboo topics like race and ethnicity that most are interested in but afraid to discuss. So I hope that my readers find what I have to say interesting and potentially have some good money advice for me.
More TK on Tuesday.
If this blog turns to writing about personal finance, the terrorists have won. Next thing you know, we’ll all be voting for Mitt Romney. Zzzzz…
Rose, how about I post my Finger Theorem and let the public sound off about it?
Mofo you have had posting powers on this blog for awhile and never used it! You are welcome to post here as long as you sign it. Or to suggest another topic for blogging. I think I can pull of making personal finance interesting, ’cause it’ll be, y’know, from a personal perspective. But maybe not.
