So saw Sex and the City at midnight … I really couldn’t believe that Carrie was the one who died! It was diabolical. What a plot twist … and being hit by a bus, no less!

arrrrghhhh some of us have not seen the movie yet and are trying to avoid spoilers!!!!
Yeah, really. That was just unnecessary. If you want to spoil it, make sure you WARN. Argh.
I’m really sorry. The funeral scene had me so choked up, though. And I’ll always remember all that blood on Carrie’s brink pink dress/tutu. SO SAD AND HORRIFIC.
I agree; there will clearly be no sequel when you kill off the main character. Maybe they can work it into a Six Feet Under movie….
I have to admit, I was pretty startled too. But when you think about it, the opening credits in the TV series included the bus driving by– so it all seems somewhat poetic that a bus would be the vehicle to end the circle started by the TV series…
I still think it might be a dream sequence. I mean if this movie does well, won’t they want to do another? But maybe they figured that this show was played and the actors might be worried about being type-cast (I would be if I were them), so maybe the producers knew that they were never going to be able to afford to get these four together again and they just decided to go out with a bang.
She died? I thought she already looked like the undead … the undead transvestite.
Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the blog. Yours is quite entertaining, too.

[…] I admit it — I wasn’t really there for that midnight showing of Sex and the City! And Carrie doesn’t die! I can’t really believe anyone fell for that. How long have we been friends […]
