So getting my own place (no roommate), selling my futon sofa ($40 on Craigslist) and keeping my place relatively tidy (though hardly immaculate) … all suspiciously grown-up activities. But I figured that as long as I had my platform bed with a futon mattress, no one could accuse me of being too mature.
However, alas, that damn bed has been progressively disintegrating since the move. It finally broke completely this past weekend.
I now find myself looking at real, actual beds on Overstock.com. Yikes.
But I figure so long as my apartment has posters … I mean, how many grown-ups have unframed posters?
derek, those are beautiful beds. as i understand it, tho, your apartment is really small. i am buying a sofabed from Inova LLC, a company I sometimes do visualization services for. I only point you to their website because I’m buying from them, not because I’ve worked for them.
inovallc.com
not a pitch, just letting you know its out there.
I have unframed posters, but then I refuse to grow up. 🙂
That same poster is on my fridge. But then aain I’m not a grownup…
Dude, get some frames! Unframed is *way* too college dorm-y!
